XO13, is designed as an alternative for the paddler who makes shorter day trips or who wants a stable and easy-to-maintain kayak for the whole family. Here we have succeeded in creating a solid day trip kayak with course stability and speed characteristics that are rather reminiscent of a touring kayak. The XO13's hull is designed for stability, maneuverability and course stability in most waters from coastal areas to lakes and rivers. The size of the cockpit makes it easy to get in and out of the cockpit and is well sized to fit the vast majority of people and is equipped with thigh support that provides proper leg support for longer trips. A rudder and rudder pedals can be retrofitted, which makes it even more attractive when it's time to replace the rental fleet. The cockpit frame has a cockpit handle that makes it more comfortable to carry the kayak by hand or on the shoulder. The XO13 is equipped with footrests and large, oval packing hatches in both fore and aft with waterproof bulkheads for increased safety.
